GreenGold Ray Energies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GRYE) very lucrative promise of green gold from Jatropha curcas is almost at hand as the company issues the FY 2013 Annual Oil Production Forecast of about $1.0 Billion Biodiesel Jatropha Oil.

Over the past one and a half years, the company that started from an initial investment of less than $1.0 Million Dollar got under way in the development of its small scale Demo-Jatropha Germination & Cultivation Center on its 1/4 acre property to the development of over 3 hectares of Jatropha Demo-Farm Plantation in Butuan City, Mindanao.

GreenGold's initial feedstock of jatropha seeds from the first 300 hectares will be ready for harvesting once the purchase of a crude oil and refinery plant is completed then set for operations. By 2010 about 3,000 hectares, plus another 10,000 hectares will be added for future feedstocks harvesting, giving an increase of about 100,000+ hectares by 2013. GreenGold and its Jatropha Alliance Growers in Mindanao expected an annual oil production of about US$1 billion biodiesel jatropha oil. A Feasibility Study made indicated that every 5,000 hectares of jatropha plants can produce an estimated annual oil production of about $11.0 Million multiplied by a factor of 100 when the remaining 100,000 hectares of jatropha plants grow to maturity.

GreenGold continues to astonish the local government, how the R & D of GreenGold's Agrarian Team had developed jatropha rich producing oil. The company's main focus was on the basic research starting from a simple "Green Midas' Thumb," a unique breeding methodology that was developed to produce seeds with high oil yields. What GreenGold sees as flaws from the other growers in their opinion, included the fact for the lack of understanding of simple germination and cultivation of jatropha crops. It is not difficult to cultivate jatrophas seeds, though these are wild crops, they are just like all other crops having its own characteristics that were domesticated for optimal use thousands of years ago.

GreenGold's jatropha plants are able to reach maturity between 6 to 8 months. The jatrophas producing oil seeds will provide about 2 harvesting seasons within a year. The jatropha seedlings are well taken cared the moment the seeds were trans-planted. Jatropha will bear fruits after 8 months with continuous weeding as one of the important factors ensuring that no weed vines intertwined around the jatrophas that may reduce the capacity of the plants to bear fruits.

Pruning is done 3 months after planting to develop multiple branches; that in every bud pruned, three to four branches will appear, more branches means more fruits that will bear inflorescence fruits within 5 months after pruning. Pruning is selectively done after every harvesting, so as not to disrupt the harvest cycle. Jatropha plants bloom only twice a year.

Harvesting and Storage of Jatropha Seeds - Mature jatropha seeds are ready for harvest once the seeds capsules turned from green to dark yellow. There are 3 to 5 seeds in each capsule, while the growers can produce up to 12 tons of seeds per hectare yearly. Harvested seeds are air-dried to prevent mold formation and the storage area must be well ventilated and dry.

GreenGold's ambitious goal is to expand a Billion-Dollar investment plan for a large-scale farming of the jatropha biofuel crops in the U.S.A. starting in Texas. The company had already selected over 200 acres of agriculture lands to be purchased in Corpus Christi and the adjacent towns. The purchase of seven (7) acres of Biodiesel Refinery site is pending. Currently GreenGold's position of constructing the oil refinery plant is under further review and approval by the local government environmental panel.

GreenGold is aiming to become the second to none largest Biodiesel Jatropha Producing Oil Company.
