Weingarten Realty Investors Appoints Vice President/Regional Director of Leasing HOUSTON, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Weingarten Realty Investors (NYSE:WRI) has announced that the Company has appointed Jeffrey Harrison as Vice President/Regional Director of Leasing. In his role, he will oversee retail leasing activities primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Prior to joining WRI, Mr. Harrison served as Senior Vice President/Director of Leasing for The Weitzman Group in Dallas, Texas, and also as Senior Retail Asset Manager for the Archon Group, an entity controlled by Whitehall/Goldman Sachs & Company. Jeff's prior responsibilities as both director of leasing and as senior asset manager give him a unique insight and ability to quickly assess and develop strategic plans to maximize asset value. Mr. Harrison graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and he holds a Texas Real Estate Salesman's license.
