TigerDirect.com Ranks in Top 10 for Online Customer Satisfaction

TigerDirect.com, a leading e-tailer for computers, high-definition TVs and electronics, has scored big in the December 30-released survey by ForeSee Results, industry leaders in online customer satisfaction measurement. The study details the online customer satisfaction rankings for the Top 40 e-retailers in the U.S. during the holiday season, and TigerDirect ranks in the Top 10 for 2009.

“With a score of 80, TigerDirect achieved the highest online satisfaction score they’ve had in any holiday season since we started including them in our study in 2005,” said Larry Freed, ForeSee's President and CEO. “To increase satisfaction four points and 5% in one year is a remarkable achievement.”

The study covers both multi-channel (stores, online and catalogue) and pure e-retailers and measures four high level factors that affect overall customer satisfaction: Functionality, Price, Merchandise and Content. The research is conducted using the methodology of the University of Michigan’s American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) and the list of retailers is based on the Top 40 by sales volume according to Internet Retailer.
