WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Shareholders of Reynolds American Inc. (NYSE:RAI), voting today at the company's annual meeting, re-elected four incumbent directors, ratified the appointment of KPMG LLP as independent auditors for RAI's 2006 fiscal year and defeated two shareholder proposals. The 11 members of the RAI board of directors are divided into three classes, with members of each class serving staggered terms of three years. Re-elected today as Class II directors were: Antonio Monteiro de Castro, Hugo Powell, Joe Viviano and Tom Wajnert.
