FAIRLAWN, OH, March 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OMNOVA Solutions (NYSE:OMN) today announced that its shareholders have re-elected David J. D'Antoni, Diane E. McGarry and Steven W. Percy to serve as directors of the Company. All will serve three-year terms expiring at the 2010 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. David J. D'Antoni retired as Senior Vice President and Group Operating Officer of Ashland Inc. in September 2004, positions he had held since 1988 and 1999, respectively. Mr. D'Antoni also previously served as President of APAC, Inc. and as President of Ashland Chemical Company. Mr. D'Antoni has been a director of OMNOVA Solutions since November 2003 and is a member of the audit committee. Diane E. McGarry retired as Chief Marketing Officer of Xerox Corporation in January 2005, a position she had held since October 2001. Ms. McGarry held numerous positions in her long tenure with Xerox, including President, North American General Markets Operations; Senior Vice President, Eastern Operations, North American Solutions Group; Vice President/General Manager, Color Solutions Business Unit; and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Xerox Canada Inc. Ms. McGarry has been a director of OMNOVA Solutions since October 1999 and is a member of the audit committee. Steven W. Percy served as Senior Vice President - Refining, Marketing & Transportation of Phillips Petroleum, from June 2000 to March 2001. Mr. Percy was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BP America, Inc., from 1996 to March 1999. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of BP America and President of BP Oil in the United States, from 1992 to 1996. Mr. Percy has been a director of OMNOVA Solutions since October 1999 and is the chairman of the audit committee.
