TouchSensor Technologies Named Atmel maXTouch™ Touchscreen Integration Collaborator

TouchSensor Technologies, a division of Methode Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: MEI) and a global leader in providing touch-sensitive user-interfaces, has been named as an Atmel® maXTouch™ touchscreen integration collaborator by Atmel Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML), a leader in microcontroller and touch solutions.

Since 1997, TouchSensor Technologies has designed and manufactured millions of touch user-interfaces for discrete key applications. Now, after an exhaustive evaluation of the available touchscreen technologies in the marketplace, TouchSensor has selected Atmel’s maXTouch technology as its platform for next generation touchscreen solutions for the medical, commercial, automotive, industrial, and appliance markets.
