Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation
(NYSE:MPR), is proud to announce that one of the Company's long
time Directors, Dr. Alan Lawley, has been recognized as a coauthor
of the "Outstanding Technical Paper" from PM 2008, the World
Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials, held in
Washington, DC, in June 2008. Coauthored by colleagues at Drexel
University and the Hoeganaes Corporation, the paper titled
"Development of a Dual-Phase Precipitation- Hardening PM Stainless
Steel" was selected by the Technical Board of the Metal Powder
Industries Federation from over 300 technical presentations. "We
congratulate Dr. Lawley on this most recent award," said De Hont.

knowledge and experience for the past eighteen years and we know
that this recognition is well deserved." Dr. Lawley is Emeritus
Professor of Metallurgy in the Department of Materials Science and
Engineering at Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is
an Honorary Member of the American Institute of Mining,
Metallurgical & Petroleum Engineers (AIME) and served as
co-chair for PM 2008. Dr. Lawley is also a member of the National
Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of ASM and APMI International, and
is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Powder
Metallurgy. He is an expert in physical and mechanical metallurgy,
powder metallurgy, composite materials, and materials engineering
design and has consulted, lectured and published extensively in
these areas. Currently, Dr. Lawley serves as a member of Met-Pro's
Audit Committee, and as co-chairman of the Product Development
