Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today announced the appointment of
Greg Huff to the newly created
position of senior vice president, Corporate Strategy.
Huff will be responsible for shaping the future growth strategy
of LSI as the company moves forward as a leading pure-play
semiconductor company focused on enabling the storage and
networking markets. He will report to Abhi
Talwalkar, LSI president and chief executive officer.
Huff comes to LSI from HP, where he was vice president and chief
technology officer of the HP Industry Standard Server business. In
that position, he was responsible for the technical strategy for HP
ProLiant servers, BladeSystem family products and its
infrastructure software business. Prior to that, Huff served as
research and development director for the HP Superdome product
family.
