Fujitsu Siemens Computers Selects LSI SAS/SATA RAID for New Generation of PRIMERGY Servers

(NYSE:LSI) today announced Fujitsu Siemens Computers, a leading
European IT infrastructure provider, has selected LSI MegaRAID and
Integrated RAID (IR) Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) / Serial ATA (SATA)
data protection technology across its next-generation mono and dual
socket Modular RAID PRIMERGY(R) family of servers. Fujitsu Siemens
Computers PRIMERGY servers will incorporate a range of hardware-
and software-based SAS/SATA products from LSI, including an
eight-port modular RAID-on-Chip (ROC) to provide customers with
high-performing server and storage subsystem solutions that meet
critical performance and data redundancy requirements. Other
market-leading LSI storage solutions selected by Fujitsu Siemens
Computers include a cost-effective chipset-based SATA device and an
LSISAS1068E controller with integrated RAID 0, 1 and 1E

SAS and SATA HDDs; or LSI SAS1078 ROC-based RAID 0, 1, 10, 5 and 6
