Polymers LLC and Kraton Polymers Capital Corporation (together, the
"Company"), two subsidiaries of Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc.
(NYSE: KRA) (together with its subsidiaries including the Company,
"Kraton"), a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers,
announced today that it has launched and priced an offering of
$100,000,000 principal amount of its
6.75% Senior Notes due 2019. The notes will constitute a further
issuance of, and are fungible with, the $250,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 6.75%
Senior Notes due 2019 which were issued on February 11, 2011 through an institutional
private placement and subsequently exchanged in full for identical
notes (the "existing notes") on June 13,
2011 through a registered exchange offer under the
Securities Act. Upon issuance, the additional notes will form
a single series of debt securities with the existing
notes.
The Company intends to use the proceeds of this
offering for general corporate purposes, which may include funding
for capital expenditures or investments, including, among other
things, a portion of our proposed new hydrogenated SBC ("HSBC")
manufacturing facility.
