Rio Tinto Shuffles Management At Richards Bay Minerals Venture

Rio Tinto PLC's (RTP) Richards Bay Minerals venture Friday
appointed Elaine Dorward-King as managing director, succeeding
Cameron McRae who is stepping down after three years in the post to
become president and chief executive of Rio Tinto's Oyu Tolgoi
copper-gold project in Mongolia.
Dorward-King, who has worked for Rio Tinto for 18 years and
currently is global head of health, safety and environment, will
take up the new position at the South African company Dec. 1, Rio
said.
In another move, the U.K.-headquartered company said Richards
Bay Chief Operations Officer Themba Mkhwanazi has been seconded to
Rio Tinto Coal Australia as a general manager. Themba has been with
RBM, which is co-owned with BHP Billiton PLC (BHP), for three
years.
