ITT receives $57 million contract for protection systems for U.S. Special Operations helicopters

ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) today announced it has been awarded a
$57 million fixed-price contract and authority for full rate
production of the AN/ALQ-211(V)6, an integrated situational
awareness and self-protection system to be installed on Special
Operations Army helicopters. The contract is the first part of a
larger $312 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, or
IDIQ, contract awarded recently to ITT by the U.S. Special
Operations Technology Applications Program Office. Under this $57
million contract, ITT will deliver 25 systems, along with spares
and related components, to the Special Operations Army. �This
represents another significant program and technical success for
the ALQ-211 family of systems,� said Chris Bernhardt, president of

protecting aircrews around the world, on both U.S. and allied
