The Board of Directors of ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) today elected Gretchen McClain, 45, a senior vice president and Janice Klettner, 47, a vice president of the company. McClain is currently the president of ITT�s fluid technology business and has been with ITT since 2005. She is responsible for the management of the company�s global fluid technology business, which generated $3.5 billion in 2007. Prior to joining ITT, McClain was a division vice president and general manager at Honeywell Aerospace. She spent nine years with NASA earlier in her career, where she oversaw the development and launch of the International Space Station. Klettner currently serves as ITT�s chief accounting officer and has been with the company since May 2006. She is responsible for ITT�s accounting, internal controls, financial reporting policies and external financial reports, as well as related SEC compliance. Prior to joining ITT, Klettner was vice president and corporate controller of Avon Products. She also served as vice president of enterprise risk management during her tenure with Avon. Klettner began her career at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP.
