Hatteras Financial Announces Addition to Management Team

Hatteras Financial Corp (NYSE: HTS) announced today that James (Jim) B. Sutton will join the management team at Atlantic Capital Advisors LLC (“ACA”), the manager of Hatteras Financial Corp. and ACM Financial Trust, Inc. as Director of Derivative Strategies. His responsibilities will be to administer all hedging activities of the managed companies; including interest rate hedge execution, modeling and monitoring the derivative portfolio, and related compliance.

Mr. Sutton most recently served as a Director of Global Rates and Currencies with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised clients on their interest rate hedging needs. Mr. Sutton has over 18 years of experience working with clients seeking solutions to limit their interest rate risk through the use of hedging products and techniques. Mr. Sutton earned a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University.
