MELBOURNE, Fla. and CINCINNATI, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has named David Cunningham vice president of Human Resources for the company's Broadcast Communications business. He previously was director of Human Resources for the business. Cunningham joined Harris in 1987 and has held a variety of human resource management positions of increasing responsibility during his career. During his career with Harris he has held employee training and human resource positions in the company's commercial and government communications operations. He joined Harris Broadcast Communications as director of Human Resources in 2003. "David has been a tremendous asset to Harris throughout his career, and brings a wealth of employee training and human resource experience to his new position. We are excited to have him leading the human resources effort at Harris Broadcast Communications," said Jeff Shuman, vice president of Human Resources and Corporate Relations for Harris. Cunningham holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and counseling from California State University in Northridge, California. He also has attended organizational development programs at California Lutheran University, as well as numerous human resource development courses.
