/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), a leading
global provider of wireless equipment and services, today announced
it will showcase the latest versions of its next- generation
microwave digital radios and network management system at next
week's CTIA Wireless conference and tradeshow in New Orleans from
March 14-17. At Harris' booth #2437 in Hall C, show attendees can
view the Constellation(R) microwave digital radio and experience
NetBoss(R), Harris' network management system. Harris also will
display the core platform of its TRuepoint(TM) product family of
next-generation microwave digital radios, the specifics of which
will be announced at CTIA Wireless. About TRuepoint(TM) TRuepoint
leads the wireless backhaul industry in terms of both performance
and manageability. Its modular, software-selectable architecture is
able to seamlessly switch between PDH and SDH applications,
enabling service providers to use a universal platform to deliver
multiple applications throughout their networks. Designed
specifically for point-to-point wireless service, TRuepoint can
deliver from 4 to 180 Mbps at frequencies ranging from 6 to 38 GHz.
In addition, service providers can completely manage TRuepoint
deployments remotely with SNMP-based management. Built-in
diagnostics and performance management also are available. About
NetBoss(R) The NetBoss network management platform provides
carriers, enterprises and public safety organizations with a single
point of control to effectively manage and maintain their full
array of microwave, network and broadcast products. Organizations
can constantly monitor the status of the overall network and its
individual components, regardless of vendor or protocol. This
enables them to pinpoint even the most minor faults in the system
with precise accuracy through a graphical display, eliminating the
need for expensive site visits and equipment troubleshooting. About
Constellation(R) Constellation is the ideal solution for wireless
carrier and private network operators. Designed for
high-performance and low-cost networking applications, the
point-to-point digital radio's scalable low-, medium-, and
high-capacity settings provide reliable transport from 8xDS1 to OC3
and 4xDS3. As a flexible indoor solution, Constellation offers
greater scalability and affordability than industry counterparts.
Additionally, the Constellation's backward compatible 4xDS3
interface offers operators increased network planning flexibility,
enabling them to perform field upgrades and add another DS3 without
adding another radio. Built-in diagnostics and performance
management also are available. About Harris Microwave
