Harris Corporation Awarded $12 Million Falcon(R) II Radio Contracts by the Danish Ministry of Defence ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), a leading supplier of secure, tactical radios for worldwide defense forces, today announced it has been awarded $12 million in contracts for Falcon(R) II tactical radios by the Danish Ministry of Defence. Harris has completed deliveries of its Falcon II high-frequency (HF) radios in vehicular configuration to the Danish Army Material Command (DAMC) for United Nations, NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) missions. "The DAMC selected Harris advanced HF radios to meet the new century's requirements," said a DAMC spokesperson. NATO and PfP countries consult on national security issues and their forces interact frequently during combined military exercises and NATO-led peacekeeping missions.
