Felcor Lodging Trust Engages The Plasencia Group (TPG) to Advise on
the Sale of Five Hotels Strategic disposition of non-core assets
covers more than 1,800 rooms at hotels in Hartford, CT; Secaucus,
NJ; Tampa, FL; Kissimmee, FL and Columbus, GA TAMPA, Fla., April 26
/PRNewswire/ -- The Plasencia Group, Inc., the leading hospitality
transaction and consulting services firm representing owners of
hotels, resorts, and golf courses, has been selected to advise
FelCor Lodging Trust in its disposition of five hotels totaling
more than 1,800 rooms in five states. FelCor identified these
hotels for sale in late 2003. The hotels are: The Crowne Plaza(R)
Hotel, Hartford, Connecticut -- 350 rooms The Crowne Plaza Hotel,
Secaucus, New Jersey -- 304 rooms The Holiday Inn(R) Busch Gardens,
Tampa, Florida -- 408 rooms The Holiday Inn Nikki Bird Hotel,
Kissimmee, Florida -- 530 rooms The Holiday Inn North, Columbus,
Georgia -- 224 rooms The Plasencia Group will market the assets as
single-sale transactions, however, a portfolio sale will be
considered. The hotels can be acquired free of management and
franchise encumbrances. Lou Plasencia, CEO of The Plasencia Group

The property was last renovated in December 1998 and offers Crowne
Plaza Club Executive Level rooms. The Crowne Plaza's strategic
location in downtown Hartford offers excellent visibility from the
interstate and convenient access to area attractions, airports,
commercial centers, the state Capitol and other facilities located
throughout the city. Hartford is located strategically at the
center of the Boston-New York economic region, is Connecticut's
center of government, and is a strategic financial center, with
heavy concentrations of activity in the insurance and financial

The Crowne Plaza is located at the heart of the Meadowlands, and is
situated on a well-manicured site directly on the Hackensack River.
The 14- story, 304-guestroom hotel offers concierge service, a full
business center, executive floors and executive rooms. The
attractive grounds include an outdoor pool with adjacent patio
area, and a large area between the property and the river that can
be utilized for outdoor functions. The hotel has 33,000 square feet
of flexible meeting space and 10,000 square feet of dedicated
exhibit space, both important assets in the busy New York-metro

The Holiday Inn occupies a high-profile location along Fowler
Avenue in northeast Tampa, less than five minutes from the main
entrance to Busch Gardens theme park and across the street from the
University of South Florida (USF), the second largest university in
the state. The 408-guestroom hotel features two large pools, a spa
and a modern and attractive children's play area. The hotel also

located on the north side of the Columbus, Georgia convenient to

market whose primary offerings are limited service hotels. The
hotel's 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space is ideal for
business and social functions. Renovated in 1999, the hotel is
