FelCor Names Troy A. Pentecost as Chief Operating Officer

FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated (NYSE: FCH), today announced Troy A. Pentecost as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Pentecost joined FelCor as Executive Vice President and Director of Asset Management in March 2006. Mr. Pentecost’s duties will expand, overseeing the Design and Construction department.

“I am very pleased to appoint Troy as FelCor’s first Chief Operating Officer,” said Richard A. Smith, FelCor’s President and CEO. “Troy has done an incredible job since he arrived at FelCor in 2006. He was instrumental in the success of our global renovation program, which led to higher than expected returns on our investment. His team was responsible for the significant market share growth and operating margin expansion since the completion of the program,” added Mr. Smith.

Mr. Pentecost was previously with Remington Hotel Corporation as Senior Vice President of Operations and Divisional Vice President of Operations. In his role, he was responsible for the company’s Operational and Sales activity. Prior to Remington, Mr. Pentecost was with Wyndham International in various management roles including Regional Vice President, Area Director and General Manager, from 1993 to 2004. A 30-year hospitality veteran, Mr. Pentecost also previously worked with Guild Hotel Management Company where he served as Regional Vice President and Director of Operations.

Mr. Pentecost currently serves on the ASFONA board, Starwood and Sheraton owner's advisory council, Doubletree owner's council and IAHI Holiday Inn committee.
