Corn Products International, Inc. Appoints Jack C. Fortnum as
President for North America Division WESTCHESTER, Ill., March 24
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Corn Products International, Inc. today
announced that its board of directors elected Jack C. Fortnum, 47,
as vice president, and president North America division. He
succeeds Eugene J. Northacker, 62, who is retiring, effective May
1, 2004. "Gene has been a great contributor to our North American
business and throughout our organization, and we thank him for his
service to our Company," said Sam Scott, chairman, president and
chief executive officer. "We are very pleased to have Jack take the
helm of the North America division. He has served Corn Products
International in numerous key positions, and brings a wealth of
knowledge to this position." Most recently, Fortnum served as vice
president, and president US/Canadian region. Since joining the
Company in 1984, he has held various positions in finance and
operational roles including that of president of the US business,
vice president of finance for the Canadian corn refining business,
and director of finance and planning for the Latin American corn
refining business. Fortnum has also held management positions with
Crown Life Insurance Co. and Clarkson Gordon. Fortnum received a
bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Toronto in
Toronto, Canada, and is a chartered accountant. He also completed
the senior business administration program offered by McGill
Universityin Montreal, Canada. Corn Products International, Inc. is
