The Board of Directors of Central Vermont Public Service (NYSE-CV) on May 2, 2006 declared a quarterly dividend of twenty-three cents ($0.23) per share on the outstanding Common Stock, $6 Par Value, payable August 15, 2006 to stockholders of record at the close of business July 31, 2006. CVPS is Vermont's largest electric utility, serving over 151,000 customers statewide.
