Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:WIBC), the holding company for Wilshire State Bank, today announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer Joanne Kim and Alex Ko, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will participate in the 2010 West Coast Financial Services Conference hosted by Sandler O'Neill & Partners, L.P. on March 2, 2010 in Marina del Rey, Calif.

Ms. Kim will be part of a panel discussion on Southern California banks discussing the state of the industry and the region, as well issues impacting customers and outlook. The forum in which Ms. Kim participates begins at 11:15 a.m. She and Mr. Ko also will be conducting one-on-one meetings with institutional investors, analysts, specialists and other professionals in conjunction with the conference.
