Super Vision International, Inc. (NASDAQ:SUPVA) a world leading
manufacturer of fiber optic and LED lighting systems will introduce
the new SaVi SHO Floodlight at the Entertainment Technology trade
show today, November 11, in Orlando, Florida. The new SaVi(TM)SHO
Floodlight is a new architectural super high output, full spectrum,
RGB and White LED floodlight utilizing ceramic chip-on-board
high-density LED array technology from Lamina Ceramics, Inc. Super
Vision incorporated this technology with its own to produce a
product with unmatched lumen output in a floodlight of its size.
The specification grade architectural flood light has been designed
from both an architectural aesthetic and functional installation
standpoint and offers the highest level of purity and richness in
color from an LED source. The individually addressable SaVi(TM) SHO
Floodlight can be used in both interior and exterior applications
and is compatible with standard DMX 512 protocol. This new product
incorporates several advances in technology and includes an
integral power supply, all enclosed wiring, 15, 30 and 45 degree
optics and is the 2nd product introduction in as many weeks of an
entirely new line of products based on this new high output
technology. Super Vision introduced the SaVi Pool Light last week
at the National Pool & Spa expo in Orlando. "The SaVi SHO has
over twice the lumen output of comparable LED flood lights and
offers superior color mixing, higher beam efficiency and rugged
specification grade construction in a compact architectural
design," stated Mike Bauer, Vice President of Sales &
Marketing. "This is just the first in several new architectural LED
products based on this new technology platform. The strength of our
intellectual property and our partnership with the team at Lamina
Ceramics has led to the incredible performance of these new
products and has allowed Super Vision to leap frog the competition
and raise the performance bar for solid state commercial lighting."
Mr. Bauer becomes President and CEO of Super Vision on January 1,
2006. "I am very proud to see our two teams bring together so much
good science, great engineering and innovative design in creating
this exciting product - the first in a truly innovative line of
solid state lighting devices," said Taylor Adair, president and CEO
of Lamina Ceramics. "The SaVi product line is proof that the
benefits of solid state lighting are not something to be realized
in the future - they're here today." Lamina Ceramics is
headquartered in Westampton, New Jersey, USA. As the market's
leader, the company's Aterion LED light engines are the world
record-holders for brightness. Certain of the above statements
