(NASDAQ:STLW) announced today that it has consolidated all field sales operations for its Semflex, Stratos Optical Technologies, and Trompeter brands. Dale Reed, formerly vice president of sales and marketing for Trompeter Electronics and Semflex, has been appointed senior vice president of sales and marketing, effective immediately, and assumes responsibility for all field sales and brand marketing functions companywide. Mr. Reed reports directly to President/CEO Andy Harris. In his earlier capacity as vice president of marketing for Trompeter, Mr. Reed was responsible for new product development and launches, pricing, and leading Trompeter's move to e-commerce. Prior to joining Trompeter, Mr. Reed served as general manager of Soladyne, now a division of Tyco, in addition to a variety of marketing, sales, and finance positions with Rogers Corporation. "In this new role, Dale Reed will provide support and leadership of our field sales force, facilitate cross-selling opportunities, and help us realize synergies from consolidating our sales resources," said Mr. Harris.
