SI International Wins $11.5 Million Contract Supporting Global Positioning System RESTON, Va., April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SI International, Inc. (NASDAQ:SINT), an information technology and network solutions (IT) company, today announced that it has been awarded a prime contract by the Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) to provide engineering, planning, and programming support for the Global Positioning System (GPS). The competitive task order has a one-year base period with four one-year options. The contract's value is $11.46 million over five years, if all options are exercised. Work to be performed by SI International supporting the Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Directorate of Requirements, Space-Based Navigation Branch, includes GPS Modernization and GPS Military User Equipment efforts.
