Perry Ellis International Announces Menswear Collaboration with Duckie Brown

Perry Ellis International Inc. (NASDAQ:PERY), owner of Perry
Ellis®, the classic American sportswear brand, announces that it
has entered into an agreement with CFDA-nominated menswear
designers Duckie Brown. The collection, called Perry Ellis® by
Duckie Brown®, marks the first apparel collaboration for the Perry
Ellis brand and Duckie Brown.
The first collection will debut during New York Fashion Week in
September 2012 and will feature looks designed by Duckie Brown
principals, Steven Cox and Daniel Silver.

the industry and they also truly understand the Perry Ellis DNA,”

A selection of looks inspired from the Perry Ellis by Duckie
Brown collection may be incorporated into the main Perry Ellis
collection. Perry Ellis will continue to produce the main Perry
Ellis collection in addition to the Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown
collection.

The Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown collection will be made
