( 1)  Includes 9,253 shares of restricted stock granted under the Perry Ellis International, Inc. 2005 Long-Term Incentive Compensation Plan. The restrictions with respect to 2,700 of these shares lapse in three equal installments of 900 shares on each of September 11, 2009, September 11, 2010 and September 11, 2011. The restrictions with respect to 6,553 of these shares lapse with respect to 2,184 shares on each of June 18, 2010 and June 18, 2011 and with respect to 2,185 shares on June 18, 2012.
