MICROS Selected to Provide Enterprise System to Manage Food
Services at Citizens Bank Park COLUMBIA, Md., Feb. 19

industry -- was recently selected to supply an enterprise system to
manage food services at Citizens Bank Park, opening April 12, 2004.
The concessions at the new ballpark are led by a joint venture of
the Phillies, ARAMARK and World Wide Concessions. MICROS Systems,
Inc. will be installing the MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management
System (HMS) at Citizens Bank Park. This system will provide speedy
concession service and in-seat ordering for guests sitting in the
exclusive "Diamond Club" area, ultimately allowing fans to enjoy
more of the game. The MICROS 9700 HMS consists of more than 300
MICROS workstations and handheld units. MICROS offers a complete
solution, including hardware, software and services. MICROS 9700
HMS integrates the facility's different business operations into a
single system: keyboard workstations will operate in the concession
stands and Workstation 4 CE .NET terminals, and Mobile MICROS
handheld terminals will serve the Diamond Club and in-seat service.
MICROS NetVupoint and Dataviewer will provide web reporting and
accounting capabilities necessary for large-scale decision-making.
