Hospitality Solutions International (HSI) Completes Point-of-Sale
(POS) Implementation for Five Sheraton Hawaii Resorts SCOTTSDALE,
Ariz., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Hospitality Solutions International
(HSI), a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. and a leading software
developer, has completed the installation of its Profit Series
Point-of-Sale (POS) software and hardware for five Sheraton Hawaii
resorts. The resorts include four on the island of Oahu -- the
Sheraton Moana Surfrider, Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian, and
Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, plus one on the island of Maui -- the
Sheraton Maui. All five resorts are owned by Kyo-ya Company Ltd., a
subsidiary of Kokusai Kogyo Company Ltd., and managed by Sheraton
Hotels & Resorts. "This is one of the largest installations in
the history of HSI," stated Tim Kinsella, President and COO,

solution are 147 POS terminals, wireless POS terminals, wireless
printers, HSI hand-held units and kitchen display units." Spread
across two Hawaiian Islands, the total solution supports 4,642
