-- MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), a leading provider of
information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail
industries, is pleased to announce that Louvre Hotels will deploy
MICROS OPERA Property Management System (PMS), OPERA Reservation
System (ORS), MICROS 3700 Point of Sale (POS), 3700 Entreprise
Management (EM), and mymicros.net in its 210 company owned hotels
under the Kyriad, Campanile, and Premiere Classe brands by the end
of September 2006. Louvre Hotels has also chosen MICROS as

approximately 750 budget hotels in France (806 including the rest

OPERA PMS, will distribute all reservations down to each hotel
providing single image inventory. MICROS 3700 POS and 3700
Entreprise Management (EM) will integrate all restaurant functions
for both front-of-house and back-office, while mymicros.net offers
a very powerful data warehouse that is easily mined with a simple
web browser providing near real-time business intelligence on the
restaurants across the entire Louvre estate. In some hotels, Kiosk
terminals will enable guests to execute check-in and check-out.
Kiosk terminal will be interfaced to OPERA PMS. "We selected MICROS
for our next generation solution because they are a solid partner
that can deploy and support all of our hotels in a very short time
frame," stated Thierry Guiraudios, Louvre Hotels Director of IT.
"In addition, MICROS has developed a customized e-learning tool to
facilitate the training of Louvre Hotels' end-users during this
rapid deployment." "Louvre Hotels has been pleased with the
performance of OPERA throughout its owned Concorde Hotels," stated
Thierry Guiraudios. "After much evaluation we determined that the
scalable MICROS solution is the easiest to deploy and provides the
greatest value for Louvre Hotels." "We are pleased to strengthen
our long standing partnership with Louvre Hotels," stated Kaweh
Niroomand, President, MICROS EAME. "More hotel chains are
recognizing the value and efficiency of central enterprise
deployment. To accommodate this shift in paradigm, MICROS has built
four data centers around the globe to provide hosting services for
all of our global customers." About Louvre Hotels Louvre Hotels is
