ISSI Names Executive in Asia SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. today announced that it has appointed Mr. Ching Hu as Executive Vice President/President ISSI-Asia. Previously, Mr. Hu was president of a division of the Walsin Group, a conglomerate in Taiwan. Prior to this, Mr. Hu was vice president of operations at Nanya Technology Corporation, where he ran an organization of approximately 1,400 employees. Mr. Hu was raised in Taiwan and completed his education in the US. He has a master's degree in material science engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Residing in Taiwan, he will oversee all of ISSI's activities in Asia, including ISSI's wholly owned subsidiaries in Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. "Ching is a great addition to ISSI's senior management team," said Jimmy Lee, ISSI's Chairman and CEO. Over the past few years, ISSI has increased its presence in both Hsinchu, Taiwan and Shanghai, China. The company has approximately 90 employees in Taiwan and approximately 80 employees in China. Both sites have design, product test, and product engineering teams as well as sales, marketing, QA and other functions.
