ISSI Introduces 300Mhz 18-Mbit No-Wait State and Standard Synchronous SRAMs for High Speed Networking and Telecom Applications SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. , a leader in advance memory solutions, today announced a 300Mhz version of its high speed 18-Mbit No -Wait and standard synchronous SRAMs. This new offering provides a 20% performance improvement to the top speed in this 18-Mbit family. Fabricated using 0.13u technology, the device is offered as a No-Wait Synchronous SRAM or a standard synchronous SRAM. Either is available in both 2.5V and 3.3V operating voltage ranges and feature JTAG boundary scan. This new 300Mhz speed grade is available in the commercial temperature range. For industrial temperature applications, speeds up to 250Mhz are available. The speed and functionality of ISSI's 18Mbit Synchronous product offering makes it especially ideal for high speed networking and telecommunication applications. Price, Packaging, and Availability For quantities of 10,000, this 300MHZ 18-Mbit Synchronous SRAM is priced at $35.00. Standard synchronous devices are offered in a 165-pin BGA JEDEC standard package. No-Wait devices also include the 209 BGA JEDEC standard package.
