(NASDAQ:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today announced it has acquired from Alliance Semiconductor Corporation their complete synchronous SRAM product line. The acquisition includes manufacturing rights, mask sets, IP, design database, patent rights, and inventory. The product line includes device densities from 4Mb to 36Mb. Effective immediately, customers can purchase Alliance Semiconductor synchronous SRAMs, from ISSI. ISSI will provide long-term support for customers currently using these Alliance Semiconductor synchronous SRAMs. Initially these devices will have the Alliance Semiconductor top mark with future production bearing the ISSI top mark. The addition of these products will further expand ISSI's current extensive synchronous SRAM product offering.
