The Interactive Intelligence Foundation is hosting its first
dinner and auction gala to raise funds for charities that help
improve the lives of at-risk youth.
The event, to be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the JW
Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis, will feature live and silent
auctions offering donated items such as a luxury Vegas excursion, a
weekend getaway for two to Amelia Island, David Yurman jewelry from
Reis Nichols, a Sugarland-autographed guitar, a Caribbean cruise, a
Utah ski vacation, a private party for up to 25 people at The
Rathskeller, golf outings, autographed sports memorabilia, and much
more.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Interactive
Intelligence Foundation’s core 2011 charity recipients – The Julian
Center, Save the Children, and FIRST.
“Our dinner and auction gala is the Foundation’s first annual
major fundraising event, so we’re especially eager to make it a
success by bringing awareness to the critical issues faced by
at-risk youth,” said Interactive Intelligence Foundation chairman,
Dr. Donald E. Brown. “The evening promises great entertainment, a
chance to socialize with like-minded community leaders from local
government, education, and technology firms, and most importantly
the opportunity to contribute to a cause that directly impacts our
future.”
The Interactive Intelligence Foundation’s dinner and auction
gala will include a three-course meal and music from Fingertrip. It
will also include presentations from The Julian Center, Save the
Children, and FIRST. Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO, Dr.
Brown, will give opening remarks.
Along with the many companies that have generously contributed
auction items, sponsors for the event include Chase Bank, Clifton
Gunderson, Communications Products Inc. (CPI), Curtis 1000, G3
Technology Partners, KPMG LLC, the Mark and Karen Hill Foundation,
Passport Health, Printing Partners, Robbins Graphics, and The Giles
Agency.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person and can be purchased
online, or by calling (317) 715-8414. The RSVP deadline is Sept.
16.
