(NASDAQ:BLUDE), the global leader in providing automated instrument-reagent systems to the blood transfusion industry, today announced that it intends to resume repurchases from time to time under its existing stock repurchase program, at times and in amounts to be determined by the Company's management and as market conditions allow. The Company has not made any repurchases under this program since the commencement of its previously reported internal investigation. With the completion of the internal investigation and the Company's filing of its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended August 31, 2005, the Company's Board of Directors has authorized the Company to resume repurchases under the program. As of November 11, 2005, 1,002,750 shares remain authorized for repurchase under the program.
