Hudson Legal Expands Discovery Project Management Capability

Hudson Legal, a leading provider of full service discovery

project management depth and capability with the recruitment of
three industry experts and promotion of two others.
Leah Guggenheimer has joined the company in its
New York office as senior vice president of eDiscovery services
with overall responsibility for the company's project management
function. Additionally, Shelley Brown and
Alejandra Perez have joined as new practice
leaders, while Jonathan Monheit and
Christian Dalton were promoted to practice
leaders.

Leah Guggenheimer leads a team of four practice group leaders
and more than 20 project managers across the country and abroad
within Hudson Legal. In her new role, Guggenheimer, formerly of
Bridgewater Associates, will leverage her strength as an analytical
problem-solver to help clients streamline processes, minimize risk,
and develop controls and best practice policies and
procedures. With ten years of experience in high-stakes
litigation and global legal firms, including class action, IP,
corporate and securities, and employment law, Leah brings a
strategic approach to optimizing efficiency and producing high
quality, repeatable and defensible e-discovery services that reduce
cost and maximize client satisfaction. Guggenheimer earned her
Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she was
also awarded a Kaufman Fellowship and is admitted to the New Jersey
and New York bars.
As eDiscovery practice leader based in Hudson Legal's New York
office, Shelley Brown combines experience, technical know-how, and
strategic legal thinking. Brown places particular emphasis on
implementing best practices and customizing innovative client
solutions as well as building effective communications between
stakeholders across the review environment. Brown received her
Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, earning awards in the
study of trial advocacy and legal history. She is a member of
the New Jersey bar.
As eDiscovery practice leader based in Hudson Legal's
Washington, D.C. office, Alejandra Perez manages high-profile
matters and works with corporate and law firm counsel to develop
tailored e-discovery solutions specific to each client's case. She
has extensive experience with patent, trademark and products
liability litigation as well as government investigations. Perez
holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law
School. She is a member of the Virginia bar and is registered
with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
With more than a decade of legal experience, Jonathan Monheit
brings a breadth of knowledge to his role as eDiscovery practice
leader based in Hudson Legal's Dallas office. Monheit's
responsibilities include designing and overseeing quality control
processes, working with e-discovery vendors, liaising with
corporate and law firm clients, troubleshooting technical issues,
administering a variety of e-discovery platforms and designing
privilege review and privilege log protocols. Monheit is a
member of both the Maryland and District of Columbia bars. He
earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of
Law.
Based in Hudson Legal's Charlotte, North Carolina office, Chris
Dalton, eDiscovery practice leader, has developed a reputation for
efficiency and excellence during his five-year tenure. Dalton works
closely with corporate counsel and law firm partners to formulate
overall e-discovery strategy for major litigations and to
troubleshoot Federal Trade Commission second requests. He has
amassed particular expertise in medical device, pharmaceutical and
biotechnology patent infringement matters. Dalton holds a
Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and is a
member of the District of Columbia bar and the U.S. Patent &
Trademark Office.
