Hudson IT (Nasdaq:HHGP) today announced an upcoming webinar for chief information officers (CIOs) and information technology (IT) management teams to assist in their decision-making as they consider migrating to cloud computing. The complimentary webinar will be held on April 7, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. (Central time).

The webinar will provide IT leaders a definition of cloud computing they can utilize to educate staff outside the IT department. Content will also cover how to make a business case for a hybrid cloud IT strategy, as well as provide an understanding of the skills needed on future IT teams to be successful in the cloud. ROI examples for cloud applications will also be presented to help CIOs drive adoption and save money for their business during the recovery.

"Determining the extent to which companies should implement cloud computing is top of mind for most CIOs right now," said Eric Samargedlis, senior vice president at Hudson. "Attendees at this webinar will see and hear highlights of the key findings we've compiled while working with clients to migrate parts of their IT function to the cloud."

Featured speakers for the event include Michael Whitmer, global chief information officer and executive vice president of operations at Hudson North America, and Kirby Miner, chief information officer at Trex Company. A preview of Whitmer's perspective on cloud is available prior to the webinar in a short video form.

Additional information about the benefits of cloud computing can be found on the recently launched Hudson IT website, along with case studies of cloud computing staffing and consulting projects. Register for the webinar at: http://us.hudson.com/IT.
