Practice Business Risk Director Ed Becmer and ERP Expert Laurie

end-to-end solutions for complex financial issues, has bolstered
its North American enterprise risk management practice with the
addition of two new national leaders who will focus on solutions in
areas such as risk management, ERP systems, internal audit
outsourcing and co-sourcing, and ongoing Sarbanes- Oxley
compliance. The Financial Solutions practice has hired Laurie
Mulford, national director for enterprise risk management, and Ed
Becmer, CPA, national director of business risk services. As
Sarbanes-Oxley, Basel II, and improved business processes are
increasingly setting companies' financial and operational
priorities, enterprise risk management has become an essential part
of total business strategy. Hudson Financial Solutions assists its
clients with all aspects of risk management, from planning to
implementation. The practice also specializes in helping small and
midsize firms implement a total risk management strategy that fits
their unique requirements. As a national practice director, Ed
Becmer will hold responsibility for strategic planning, service
offering development and training for risk management. Becmer will
lead Hudson's business risk services, which provides solutions for
enterprise-wide risk management covering specialized areas such as
internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, regulatory compliance,
treasury risk and forensic accounting. Becmer began his career in
public accounting with Deloitte & Touche. Since that time, he
has served as CFO in privately-held companies and a publicly-
traded Fortune 500 company in the commercial real estate industry.
Becmer's expertise encompasses both public and private company
finance, initial public offerings, SEC reporting, global
Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal audit management. Laurie
Mulford will lead Hudson's enterprise risk planning (ERP) services
with responsibility for strategy, service development and global
alliances. Mulford will ensure that Hudson's solutions meet
companies' technology, operational and compliance needs on a global
basis. Hudson assists Fortune 1000 clients with the full scope of
their enterprise environment including vendor selection, pre- and
post-implementation reviews, and implementation of ERP packages and
compliance tools. Mulford has significant experience managing both
U.S.-based and global projects in all four major enterprise risk
planning software packages such as security and controls reviews,
training, change management, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in the
ERP/IT arena. Prior to joining Hudson, she spent 17 years with
Xerox Corporation in a variety of strategic and operational
positions including three years in London as European
Implementation Manager. Mulford also served as Director of
