GPI Named Sole Table Game Equipment Supplier for State-of-the-Art
Casino; LAS VEGAS, June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gaming Partners
International Corporation (NASDAQ:GPIC) ("GPI"), a leading provider
of casino currency and table gaming equipment worldwide, announced
that it has completed an order valued at approximately $1 million
from the new Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. GPI
was selected as the sole table game equipment supplier for Planet
Hollywood's state-of-the-art gaming area, featuring 95 table games,
providing all of the chips, RFID readers, layouts, dice, playing
cards and the gaming tables themselves. The gaming chip order
includes GPI's exclusive low- frequency RFID chips in denominations
of $25 and up. The order was supplied in full during the second
quarter of 2007, ahead of the resort's official launch on April 17.
GPI worked closely with the Planet Hollywood management team on the
design and creation of luxurious gaming tables, creative graphic
layouts and state- of-the-art gaming chips. Gerard Charlier,
