Separately, the firm also announced today the promotion of Alexander J. Rygiel to Co-Head of Diversified Industrials in Equity Research and the promotion of Jordan Fialkoff and Brian Stauffer to Managing Director within Equity Trading. He has been recognized by Forbes.com as a leading stock picker and earnings estimator. Mr. Rygiel holds a Bachelor of Science in financial management from Clemson University. Additionally, Jordan Fialkoff and Brian Stauffer have been promoted to Managing Director within FBR Capital Markets' Equity Trading group. Mr. Fialkoff joined the Trading team in 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University. Mr. Stauffer has been a member of the Trading team since 2003, having previously been a Vice President of Equity Trading at Credit Suisse First Boston.
