Visitors will see demonstrations of key applications making use of Fairchild�s latest power devices, including a portable DVD player, plasma screen, CRT TV, air conditioner and e-bike. The booth also contains five interactive plasma panels so visitors can learn how Fairchild�s technologies can help with their own particular product designs. Highlights include: the power board area - covering AC/DC adaptors, open frame power supplies, chargers, and power supplies for color TVs, set-top boxes, DVDs and LCD applications; the ultra portable area - with Fairchild products ranging from uSerDes� and IntelliMAX�, to video filters, such as the FMS6151, and a new multi-media switch, the FSA201; motor applications; and consumer applications - addressed by Fairchild�s FAN7710, a ballast control IC and integrated video filters such as the FMS6346, FMS6203, and FMS6141 devices. �The applications on display are the culmination of intensive cooperative design initiatives with key customers,� explains Eric Kuo, Fairchild�s president and managing director, Asia Pacific. �In China, our network of Global Power Resource� design centers, the latest of which is located in Qingdao, are driving many of these initiatives.
