with the "Fair Partner" award for exemplary business operation and
performance. The award was presented by Yun-kap Seong, commissioner
of Korea Customs Service, to Young-jo Jang, director, Equipment
Technology Team, Bucheon Operations, Fairchild Korea Semiconductor
Ltd. In 2006, the Korean Customs Service evaluated 42 companies and
only 16 were selected, including Fairchild Korea. Winners are
qualified to use upgraded services and enjoy reduced bonded freight
inspections for two years after receiving the award. Since 2004,
the Service has selected 45 companies to be designated Fair
Partners, showcasing businesses with exemplary logistics and with a
