You versus the Sensors: Datawatch to Discuss Visualization Requirements at Internet of Things North America
April 09 2015 - 8:55AM
Datawatch Corporation (Nasdaq:DWCH) today announced that its Vice
President of Product Marketing Dan Potter will speak at the
Internet of Things North America conference, being held in Chicago
April 15 and 16.
Potter's session, titled "You versus the Sensors – Six
Requirements for Visualizing the Internet of Things" will take
place on April 16th at 2:00p.m. and focuses on the emerging
requirements for creating an effective data visualization platform
for the Internet of Things. The session will also explore how, just
as in network operations and financial services, the Internet of
Things will place a premium on eliminating time lag in decision
making and push the tools for smarter decision-making closer to the
business edge.
"Deriving value from the information flowing from the Internet
of Things requires an ability to see and understand it in real
time," said Potter. "We look forward sharing how our customers are
transforming their businesses through the innovative use of
real-time analytics."
The Internet of Things North America event covers advanced
connectivity and cloud based monitoring/control of devices,
facilities, automobiles and enterprise operations. The event will
be co-located with the Device Technology Conference.

risks associated with a subscription sales model; Datawatch's
dependence on its ability to hire and retain skilled personnel;
disruption or failure of Datawatch's technology systems that may
result from a natural disaster, cyber-attack, security breach or
