FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Collegiate Funding Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:CFSI) has announced the promotion of several key personnel. (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20050714/DCTH039LOGO ) Steve Fletcher has been promoted to senior vice president of the direct marketing and federal consolidation team; he was previously vice president, strategic business manager. Fletcher will retain his current responsibilities as well as assume responsibility for the direct marketing services team, which includes customer information management, direct mail and modeling. Fletcher joined CFS in April 2005 with responsibility for the federal consolidation business. Brian Schools has been promoted to senior vice president. Schools joined CFS in September 2001 as vice president, strategic business manager and has had varying product growth responsibilities within both federal and private lending. Going forward, Schools will be responsible for the leadership of CFS' private loan businesses. Eric Lewis, who began his career with CFS in October 2003 as director, credit product development, has been promoted to vice president. Together, Schools and Lewis will focus their efforts on growing this entire business segment for CFS.
