Cabot Microelectronics Appoints Adam F. Weisman as Vice President,
Operations AURORA, Ill., May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cabot
Microelectronics Corp. , the leading supplier of chemical
mechanical planarization (CMP) slurries to the semiconductor
industry, announced today the appointment of Adam F. Weisman to the
position of Vice President, Operations. Mr. Weisman reports
directly to William P. Noglows, Cabot Microelectronics' Chairman
and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Weisman joins Cabot
Microelectronics after many years in senior operations management
roles with the General Electric Company, including having served as
the General Manager of Manufacturing for GE Plastics -
Superabrasives, and most recently, as the Executive Vice President
of Operations for GE Railcar Services. Mr. Weisman's 20 years of
experience in plant, operations, and quality management at GE
includes the development and application of "six sigma" processes
in the operations environment. "Adam Weisman's demonstrated
successes in leading and creating efficiencies and process
improvements in world-class, global operations organizations that
have a laser-focus on quality make him an ideal addition to our
