Citrix Online’s web conferencing tools GoToMeeting® and
GoToWebinar® were rated top in overall user experience for the
second consecutive year, according to Wainhouse Research in its
annual “Web Metrics First Half 2010 Survey” of web conferencing
users. The services led the web conferencing industry in ease of
use, performance, price and the ability to start ad hoc
meetings.
Wainhouse Research generated the findings by surveying
businesses of all sizes across industry and government, asking
individuals to rate their experience in attributes associated with
a good user experience.
GoToMeeting will drive
‘Google-like’ phenomenon for collaboration services
In a second report, “2010 North American CSP Market Forecast
& Provider Reviews,” Wainhouse Research noted that Citrix
Online’s full collaboration product suite has strong appeal to the
larger global market and addresses market needs for affordable,
flexible and secure solutions for ad hoc web conferencing, webinars
and training.
Wainhouse Research pointed to Citrix Online’s very high value
proposition, citing it is “a great service at a great price.” The
report added, “Continuing with its current strategy of regular
product improvements and enhancements, service bundles that create
greater client value at low incremental costs and continued
campaigns for greater awareness, Wainhouse Research believes Citrix
will drive deeper into global markets and create a ‘Google-like’
phenomenon for accessible, low cost collaboration services.”
“We expect the North America market for conferencing and
collaboration services to reach approximately $5.5B by 2014,” said
Marc Beattie, Managing Partner, Wainhouse Research. “Based on these
two recent reports, Citrix Online is well placed to capitalize on
that industry growth with its web collaboration suite and to
continue to score highly in key attributes that customers care
about.”
“Customers have driven our success. The findings in these
reports prove that our dedicated focus on simplicity, value and a
great user experience is what our customers want in their web
collaboration services,” says Brett Caine, general manager of
Citrix Online. “We’re confident our approach will continue to
enable our customers to succeed while benefiting from our ‘simpler
is better’ approach to collaboration. We will naturally benefit
from this with continued growth and leadership over the long
term.”
GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar are among the fastest growing
products in the company's history, due to their ability to provide
an easy-to-use, secure, cost-effective and fast way to meet,
demonstrate products and collaborate online. With the addition of
GoToTraining® earlier this year – an easy-to-use, affordable
solution for online corporate training – businesses and individuals
now have a full suite of collaborative services for their online
meeting, webinar and training needs.
