California Micro Devices Announces Closing of Public Offering MILPITAS, Calif., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- California Micro Devices Corporation today announced that it closed its public offering of 1,300,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $15.00 per share. The company expects to receive net proceeds from the offering of approximately $17.9 million, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses. The company has granted the underwriters the right to purchase up to an additional 195,000 shares of common stock to cover over allotments, if any, at any time on or before May 26, 2004. Needham & Company, Inc., C.E. Unterberg, Towbin and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc. acted as managing underwriters for the offering. All shares were offered by the company and the offering represented a new financing. The company intends to use approximately $7 million of the net proceeds from the offering to repay existing indebtedness, with the remainder to be used for general corporate purposes.
