CalAmp Appoints Rick Nozel Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wireless Networks Business

CalAmp Corp. (NASDAQ:CAMP), a leading provider of
wireless products, services and solutions, today announced the
appointment of Rick Nozel as Senior Vice President of Sales and
Marketing for the Company�s Wireless Networks business.
In this newly created position, Mr. Nozel will lead the combined
sales, marketing, customer support and service delivery resources
for CalAmp�s Public Safety Mobile, Industrial Monitoring &
Controls and Original Equipment Manufacturer product lines. He will
also be responsible for CalAmp�s company-wide international sales
organization. Mr. Nozel will report to Michael Burdiek, CalAmp�s
Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Nozel has spent his entire career in the wireless industry.
Prior to joining CalAmp, he was Vice President of Sales with
General Electric's Microwave Data Systems (MDS) unit, a wireless
communications equipment provider for the industrial market that
was acquired by GE in 2007. During his 17-year tenure at MDS, he
held various sales and marketing management positions including a
two year international assignment in Asia as Director of
Asia-Pacific Sales. He began his career as an engineer with the
Data Telemetry Group of E.F. Johnson. Mr. Nozel earned a Bachelor
of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has completed graduate coursework in
Business at the University of Minnesota.
