On October 7, 2008, CalAmp Corp. issued a press release announcing its financial results for the second quarter ended August 31, 2008.

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

A conference call with simultaneous webcast to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended August 30, 2008 and business outlook will be held today, October 7, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
