With Atlanta Regional Commission's website needs rapidly growing, a new content management system was required to replace their existing RedDot platform. The new system needed to better accommodate ARC's increasing ranks of content contributors with flexible seat licensing for current and future needs, offer an easier-to-use administrative interface to cut down on training, and provide role- and permission-based workflow. Furthermore, with search increasing in overall importance to their communication strategy, ARC required industry-leading search engine optimization capabilities in their new CMS.

Ultimately, ARC's selection process resulted in the choice of iAPPS Content Manager, which best met their overall feature requirements and offered functionality such as a forms builder, RSS feeds, and blogging tools, as well as document management capabilities that can support thousands of documents and digital assets. Because of iAPPS' deep integration, it offers some of the most SEO-capable features available in the market today including auto-generated 301 redirects, auto-generated XML sitemaps, and SEO-friendly URL strings. Additionally, iAPPS' SaaS option allowed ARC to spread out software licensing fees over a longer period of time.
